Does anyone know a good, easy to navigate website with a list/pictures of rare stamps?

I have a large box of stamps from 1905-1965 and would like to be able to sift through them and determine if any of them are worth anything. There is a wide range of stamps: from different countries, dedicated to past presidents and the establishment of several states and legislative committees. If nobody knows of a good website, do you know of any stamps in particular that are considered rare?

First, please read the excellent article on exactly this subject at http://www.virtualstampclub.com/inherit.html - it goes into a lot more detail than I can possibly write here.

There is a lot of information available on things like locations of stamp clubs, stamp shows, and dealers at http://www.stamps.org - the information there should help you a lot.

Good luck!

try these sites to see if any of your stamps are valuable. if you have a lot of stamps left ofter you search and sort through them i would be interested in buying the left overs for a small fee. i use canceled stamps in craft projects and would love to have some vintage stamps to work with.

please contact me if you are interested. put canceled stamps in the subject line

thanks
