I have been to the temples of Tibet. And flown over the Himalayas in a small plane. I have trekked the Anapurna Mountain - in the Himalayas. I have seen the seven wonders of the world - the ancient ones. But that flight over the Himalayas was the one that took my breath away. After that one realizes just how insignificant we really are in the grand scheme of things. Everyone should do it once. Just like everyone should see the Great Pyramids.

Confessing my sins in front of everyone and accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Giving birth to 2 children ages 12 and 6. Receiving all the blessings and giving the blessings. So much amazing things have happened.

I moved out on my own 2,000 miles away from any family members, without a car and without a friend for miles, and completely rebuilt my life and formed my own social circles and friendships. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but for the first time I had to rely only on myself and my faith. It made me stronger, I learned to live on less and put first things first, and now I feel like I'm more prepared for what life throws at me. Also, I have many new friendships that will probably last for the rest of my life.

I think it's pretty damn amazing I'm still alive after the things I've been through. The details are too many and too personal to get into them, but the experience made me who I am today. Getting through hard times made me stronger and more understanding and now I strive to help others get through their hard times.

Witnessed the birth of my son.
Playing with my son.
Watching him grow and laugh.
Nothing more amazing than that.
