If you are referring to ,"The Souls of Black Folks"......I'm sorry but I think that Historical document fits it better than anything else.................

I think it is still relevant in modern society. Remember - historical documents are not just an old piece of paper, but they offer insight to the time period and their ideas. Yes it is a historical document, but it's not history. We don't, at least as far as i am aware of America have black-white equality, and mind you - political correctness is certainly contributing to that factor.

Of course, "Souls of Black Folk" is valuable as an historical document. But it is still relevant since clearly America is in many ways still racist and unequal, a century later.
