Staged,

I read an article on My Yahoo today that covered exactly this issue. Not only was the event with Pamela Anderson staged, but she was happy with it and wished him luck on his movie.

However, a lot of other people (maybe everyone else) did not know what was going on. These people were told that a documentary was being done and then they had to sign a release. The release said that the signer could not hold the production company liable for what was done or said to them during the documentary. The article didn't say, but I assumed that people like the antique dealer who sustained damage to property were reimbursed.

The article went on to say that one woman and the Frat Boys planed on suing the movie producers, but the producers claim that the suits are without any basis. The Frat Boys claimed that they were taken to a bar and given drinks before signing their release forms.

Scenes like when Borat let his chicken lose on the bus were staged WITHOUT the other people knowing what was going on. They were taken advantage of and truly shocked by what happened to them. I suspect that the reaction of the other surprised people were genuine as well.

Yes it was staged, shes actually a star in the movie and is in the credits- i think someone did an interview with her regarding her role in the movie. in that scene, the only victims were the fans that were lined up.

It was staged. I saw an interview w/her now that the movie is a big success and they planned that for about a year.
