How about getting in the sex tourism business?

There are a lot of people out there who are HIV positive, and due to the stigma involved in this and the fact that they dont want to infect others, they can not have sex.

Also there are a lot of people in Africa and the Far East that are also HIV positive and ex-prostitutes, who now because of there disease can not or should not be practising there business - if you could open up a holiday resort somewhere and bring these two groups of people together then in one stroke you have made some westerners with a bit of money happy and provided a living to some poor unfortunates in underdeveloped countries!

Also you have perhaps prevented somebody without HIV contracting the virus as the richer people in the west are less likely to have sex with an unsuspecting person and the professional in the Far East / Africa have a way of earning money without infecting there customers. Further you could also provide Antiretoviral treatment for the ladies (and men?) in your companies employ so that they can live longer and happier with there condition!

I know on first reading the idea sounds sick, but it really is a win/win opertunity for all involved and you get to make money at the same time!

Im 26 & im starting a garden irrigation business. It will be part time while I work for my employer. Theres lots of prospect since the competition is minimal except for the big companies how actually help you anyways. The startup is low since all you need to do your first installation is a method of getting the long piping to the site which can be carried with a car. The rest of the parts are a few shovels & other garden tools along with the equipment you will need to install which will fit into 1 big box. your capital needed can be acheived from your credit card for 60% of the first jobs expenses while the other 40% comes from the customers deposit. Once the job is done you can pay the credit card back.

If you want to look more small scale, consider a carwash where the startup can be low depending on the route you choose to go. The main thin with carwashes are location.

What about selling hotdogs on weekends in busy areas. Just be sure to get permission from any governing bodies of private properties before you decide to start selling.

Good luck

I would recommend your visiting www.bim4u.com a site that helps business owners and new entrepreneurs in sorting out their problems. You can also request for free counseling sessions. The site does provide free intial sessions. I feel that will solve your dilemma.

There are many factors to be considered while starting a business, like Why one wants to be in business? What does one want to achieve in next five years? Next ten years? and ultimately? The E Myth books of Michael E. Gerber does discuss the aspect of starting the business well. I suggest you read his book "Why most small businesses don't work and what to do about it"

Understanding one's personality is the first step to start with. Because when you start your business you become three -in-one person, an Entrepreneur, A Manager and a Technician. And if you don't balance or can't balannce you end up with a business failure.

Second factor to be considered is finding a niche for your business. How to go about doing it? Depends on the market you propose servicing, the products you are offering etc. There are niche identification strategies. You can discuss this at a length with a good counselor or raise this issues on www.bim4u.com They will answer your queries.

What interests you? What kind of business do you want to be in? For example, do you want to help people or provide a service? Do you want to earn slow and steady income or fast and fad-dish?

Massage therapy training is about 1 year or less long depending on your state, you would own your own business as a therapist, you could provide a service and work your own hours and still make good money. You can go higher in it too and become a physical therapist, lymphedema therapist or higher still. Therapists make anywhere between $35.00 to $100.00 an hour, that is a good sized income.

If you like to cook, you could start a dessert business, make some cakes, cookies, start selling them or taking them consignment to bakeries.

Right now jeweled purses, flashy belts are in demand, you could sew them or open a shop to sell them.

There's lots of free merchant services online too you can open a store front with.

Well, no business is GUARANTEED success but you have to start somewhere and keep at it. They key things are:
- How much $$$ you have to invest
- How much time you have to dedicate to it to make it grow?
- do a market research/study to find out what consumers are looking for/buying.
- Look for any gaps in the market for products/services which you can get of fill
- Make a list of produtcs and services you can offer/source easily and cheaply.
- Use the internet to sell or market your products and services. Its a Multi-trilion dollar market which you too can have a slice of.

- Plan and start selling domestically then expand WORLDWIDE...then sit back and watch the $$$ roll in.

Like any business, it will not happen over night and it will take some patience to get there, but, with a lot of determination, your chances of success are greater.

Good luck.

THINK for a moment. You want to be in business. Do you have any idea, how much information you need to compile before hand?

You need ideas, I need a little information, pretend I am your mentor.

Now, go down and click the little tab that says "add details"

Where are you? How much money, do you have? What, if any skills, do you have? What experience or education do you have?
