It's like that with everything. The government helps people from other countries more than they do here. I knew people who were having the hardest time getting social security, while immigrants were taking out handouts, when they never put a dime into it.
Then there's the affirmative action, which helps people from other countries, and gives them extra credit, when most the time they are unqualified.
The assumption is that if you are born here, you have opportunity, which is true at all; because a lot of people just can't find their opportunity, and they just get shoved aside when it is needed.

I agree totally with Luv Zoey. It doesn't matter where they adopt a child from, a child is a child.
But I have another thought about celebrities adopting children. If I were giving up a child for adoption, I don't think I would want a celebrity to adopt my child. It is true, the child would probably have the best of anything that money could buy, but I would not want them to lead that kind of life. I would think they would always have to have a bodyguard for fear someone would kidnap them. They would never have the simple privacy that you and I who are not celebrites take for granted. For instance, I just could not imagine not being able to go out to dinner or run into the local convenience store to pick up a soda without flashbulbs popping in my face all the time.

Can't help but to agree with you. Just wondering if they are doing this out of the goodness of their heart then why are they making it so public.

I think if Madonna or anyone else wants to help a child ..power to them. It doesn't matter where they are from, it's the action that counts. I wish I was financially able.
