ipod is not dead, its just that its there for a long time, and its really good at what they do, playing music and videos, also doubling as a portable harddisk ! well.. as the saying goes, if its not broken why fix it. Cheers

iPOD is not necessarily old technology its improving but i would much rather pick up a PSP with a 4gb memory stick that has a bigger screen, plays games from PS1, watches movies, listen to music, look at photos, emulate gameboy games, soon to come in the near future gps, theyve got a camera accessory out in japan not that you would want that when you could get an actual camera. Oh and it can go online too kinda like a sidekick but you need to be by wifi anywayss way better than iPOD but iPODs not outdated PSP is just better

To be honest, yes. I like the iPod but it's continuing to repeat itslef over and over again. I want something new and innovative. It's called "The Microsoft Zune" The Zune is the latest music/video device on the market that hits stores to be exact tomorrow. It has many features that is amazing and more worth buying than an iPod you have a built in FM Tuner, You can wirelessly transfer music to a friends device, and you can watch videos on this Zune in landscape mode making it a widescreen aspect. You also can hold photos...(what device can't these days). It has many features that the iPod lack so you should truly reconsider your decision in deciding which portable media device you want to look into.

Ipod is old tech. Wait a week or so, and pick up a ZUNE.
