I floated back and forth a lot of years on weather they are real or not.
If you watched the History Channel tonight they had a show on Pilot's who seen UFO's.
I doubt very much they can all be wrong on what they seen. Guys with 20,000 hours of flying time.
They always destroy the paper reports and tapes.
So why won't they ever talk about it? It seems like it is a cover up no matter what story I read about or hear on the History channel.
Most people on this Earth believe in them anyway, so what harm will it do if they admit they are out there?

Basically,m it means the Air Force does not have control of the skies and it shakes the confidence of the citizenry. (Well, that's their excuse!)

The government takes UFO sightings seriously and they are investigated. But UFO is simply "unidentified". YOU want to think that they are alien spacecraft but there isn't information to support that. There was a time when only the government had instruments like radar and flew jets so it was easy to believe that they were covering something up that only they saw. That isn't true anymore. There are scads of jets flying around and plenty of radars in private hands, so you can't claim the government is sitting on something that they were the only witnesses to.

Thats a really interesting question.
I think, if they are real, then probably it is covered up because there are a lot of people who would freak out if they knew for sure.
But my best guess is that no one really knows for sure.
I don't think the gorvernment could hide something like that anyway... With the exception of those pilots, doesn't seem like most other people who have seen them are uneducated hicks that prob just saw something else?

they don't know everything yet, and they don't want us going on the side, making deals with aliens, messing everything up...
because- if we can see UFO's/alien rides, the fact that they can get here automatically implies superior intelligence on their part
