Okay, my aunt always makes my grandfather be Santa Clause and me nothing. But this time, she told me if I could help and showed me my costume. The problem: it's really revealing, the top looks like a bra and the skirt is very short. She told me I had the body though. So, what should I do?

How old are you and what is your relationship to others in the family who will be participating in this event? Choose your own costume and demand the respect you deserve. No matter how attractive your body may be no one else has the right to put it on display. Remember, we teach others how to treat us. This is a great time to let your aunt and other family members know you think more highly of yourself and expect them to do the same.

Talk to your Aunt about it and tell her your feelings. Maybe she can come up with something not as revealing. Maybe you could wear a shirt underneath the bra and pants or leotards for your legs under the skirt. This might still be a bit too revealing though.

If you feel uncomfortable doing it, then do not do it. Stand by what you think is right. Also many guys have trouble struggling with lust so it would probably be a good reason not to do it for their sakes as well. Not really sure the setting though, if it's just family or others too. And perhaps it doesn't matter as even family members can struggle with things like that (as sick as it may sound).

But above all do not compromise your position. I'm not sure what your reason is for wanting to do it, but you do. Maybe it's being in the spotlight for a bit, maybe it's because you feel pressure from your family to do it and don't want to let your Aunt down, maybe you have another reason, you know what it is. But none of these are worth compromising what you feel is right.

What kind of "Clause" is this? It certainly does NOT sound like appropriate attire around children! How old are you? If it feels uncomfortable, don't do it! And I wouldn't even show up to a party with those specifics involved...

Not if you feel uncomfortable it would be weird with all your family there even if you have the body or not Christmas should be a nice memory for you not something to stress you you have enough with the shopping and the preparations talk to your grandma and ask her to see if you can change the outfit a bit.

If you have any doubts at all, and it sounds like you do, don't do it. You will probably make a fool of yourself and regret it. It doesn't sound like your aunts heart is in the right place in what she is asking you to do.

Besides, to be in something that skimpy while my Grandpa was in a Santa suit!?!?!?!? UH......................YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Easy. Tell her "hell no, the costume is too revealing". Don't worry what she thinks. Don't lower yourself just so you don't hurt her feelings.

What in the world are you supposed to be? If youre going to be around children, no, you shouldnt wear something like that.

Sounds very inappropriate to me...kind of icky. I agree with what Maddy Waddy has to say.

tell her she should be ashamed of herself. if u don't feel comfortable wearing it, than try telling her to give u a different job. who want to wear that at a santa thing anyway?

Dressing provocatively for a family gathering? Uh... sure, great idea.
