When you began year 10, because only then did you begin to learn things use your brain and actually be stressed.

With the invention and use of all the modern technologies. We cannot complete a task without a computer, a laptop, cordless phone, cell phone and all the associated power cords and backups that modern life has given us.
I am not against these items, obviously as I am on a computer at this moment in time. I do remember decades ago, when people could actually make a list on an actual piece of paper, and could count back change correctly without depending on a machine to do it for them.
We are completely buried in facts and papers and it is unfortunate. I went to my personal post office box and few days ago, and pulled out 28 separate pieces of mail, only six of the pieces were actual necessary items, and the rest had to be thrown away or shredded.
No wonder everyone is so stressed, all of these inventions are supposed to make life easier; but I don't believe that is what is happening. I have one day per week that I call my unplugged day, no cell phone...no work related calls or emails and just peace and quiet. Past generations didn't have to set aside down time or play time, it was just a part of everyday life.
All of the technology is great, but we need to control it, and not let it control us. Have a good day.

I have a feeling you are a school age girl....you think boyfriends, teachers and parents are hard. Wait till you get married, have a job, have a boss and become a parent. Life is easy now...enjoy it.
