I have met some hockey players and other athletes over the years and many were nice guys and a few A holes as well.

Bobby Hull was the nicest and Dick Shatto of the Toronto Argos(football) was also a great guy and one of the all time greats of the CFL.

I have met Lou Dunbar( extremely nice) of the Harlem Globetrotters and Oscar Robertson when he played for the Cincinnatti Royals.

I met Evel Knievel the motorcycle daredevil and I have played softball against some hockey players including Steve Yzerman.

The biggest A hole by far was Pat Borders of the Toronto Blue Jays.

A friend of mine once met Wilt Chamberlain who was his hero but Wilt just stared at him when he said hello and told him he was his all time favorite player.

This was at the Montreal Olympics when Wilt was alone before a boxing match was going to take place.

Wilt was probably the greatest player ever and certainly the best big man but he lost a fan that day.

I met Lady Bird Johnson when she was first lady & I lived in Wash, DC. She had on a full-length mink coat & long brown leather gloves. And she had on way too much eye shadow. It was turquoise & gloppy & she had it over the entire lid up to her eyebrows! But she was very gracious when we shook hands.

I had a gay friend when I lived in Columbus OH & he took me to a gay bar so that I could meet Paul Lynde who thought I was a lesbian! That was pretty funny.
