We can't see air, but we know what gases make it, down to the %, & the # of atoms. How about the sole?

Question

I am talking about the 21st century. We can go to the moon. We can even dive under the ocean too deep to swim to. We can build a machine that can help the heart pump blood and keep a person alive. We can make a living thing from scratch, but we have yet to decipher what it is that makes us learn, think, question, remember, believe, and be. This thing that is called the sole. What is it? Can it be contained? Retained? Transfered? Deciphered?

How does food go into the body, nurture it, sustain life, and cause the human brain to plan for the future, build gadgets, create art, love, sing, cry? Is this higher order of thinking part of evolution? I am fascinated bu it. Please share your thoughts...

I see your point and your understanding so far but my belief is that this planet "earth" is nothing but a huge learning experience to purify your soul for its eternal you learn of hardship lust and greeds kindness all of that for when you die its nothing but a new birth into the "reality of things" another plain of existance ill stop there.The reason about science is they only things a majority believe is what they can see and touch and feel they know we had to have something in order for us to survive in the air.Air it was actually only discovered in the 1800's as for the soul there are many people in this world that are kept quiet mainly because of the govt and the close minds of people these days.Know what a aura is? its energy around our physical bodys everyone has one, if you are gifted you can see it, it tells alot if you are trained its all colours it tells how well your health is if your sick cancer etc and where and your personality and intentions hard to believe i know we arn't so great now just because we can build machinery whos to say millions of years ago man couldn't then either? its believed they were stronger more in touch with there minds could read each others thoughts and talk telepathically.Dont you realise we know so little about the big questions in life? Thats for a reason because thats just it we are in a puny we world we are like ants considering to other beings the universe isnt small there must be something more the moon big deal?We dont know **** really what makes you learn etc is your conscious mind what you know little about is your sub-conscious that being the key-word here i wont go into much more could be confuzing and i would sound like a christian haha believe what you will also to the guy that says we are supurier to animals are we>? We are animals and look at what we do to each other? at least animals kill for a reason to survive (well most the time) all you need to do is watch the news and look at our pathetic race money and power is all that matters these days.

There are many types of soles. Some are specially designed for running or sporting activities. There's special ones for golf and football. Others offer protection with steel shank reinforcement and thick tread for traction.
Sole may be a flounder type fish that can be found in the ocean in most shallow sandy areas. They are quite delicious.

I believe you mean the "soul". The Sole is much simpler and sits on the bottom of your shoe.

MOving on. Well, that's what makes us human...making you capable of even ASking a question like that. thought and curiosity. The soul is more...well, religious in a sense. I go more with science myself and intelligence that separates us from lesser beings like beasts and animals...although beasts still roam the world somehow... It is madness and I'm getting tired just thinking about it.
