I'm thinking of having a place where people can release their anger and break stuff for a relatively cheap price.
Sort of like a room where you buy time for your band to practice.
I came up with the idea when a lot of times I look around and wish I could just destroy everything in my apartment but can't because of the darkness (lamps) and lack of music (radio ), and video (my tv) that would result because of the breakage. The action would be worth it but the lack of stuff afterwards wouldn't. Breaking stuff that isn't yours has worked in the past to get the agression out. . So I'm just asking.

I think that is a freaking awesome idea. I would pain 20.00 for 20 minutes. You could get the stuff at Goodwill, garage sales, I would play really hard heavy metal music - so you could yell too.

Very clever. Awesome.

I used to take a rug out and hang it on the clothesline and beat it with a broom =====I like your idea better!

Good luck with it.

The idea of damaging anything for any amount of money just does not appeal to me. There are other ways to release anger without causing damage or infliction to any object.

$13 for 20 minutes... CHEAP! Definately would do it! Was so mad at my colleague just now. She asked me to wash the dishes which wasnt my job at all (more to hers!).. I pretended I didnt hear her. Had she insisted, I'd probably break all the cups and plates.

actually, maybe. just once I'd try it...and I know people who'd go everyday after work if they could!

did you know that in Japan they have bars with a similar idea? You can go there and (to a certain extent) are allowed to abuse their staff. It sounds like a good wind-down to me....

good luck.

I wouldn't. I have never been into breaking things. I prefer to go on long walks toclear my head when I am angry.

I would be mad after the fact that I actually paid money to do that.
