it's not just u - the tables in bars have gotten smaller & after a few drinks those tables seem to get even smaller yet

Wish I could remember, but it's been almost an entire decade since I was last in a bar - from what I do remember though, the tables were getting smaller - they want more people to drink at the bar, dance, or leave so other people can drink, that's how they make more money.....

that never happens to me, the tables seem to get empty really fast when I'm at the bar. their size doesn't change.

You bet they do. The drunker you get, the smaller the table gets and the bigger your mouth gets (at least mine does)!!!
