Yes I would, I would also vote for a gay president, and a female president. So, if there is ever a chance to vote for a black gay female president I will be waiting at the voting booth.

I would vote for Barak Obama in a heartbeat so yes. If Colin Powell ran he'd make a more competent president than george.

I don't care what color candidates are, I care about their qualifications, policies and whether they seem trustworthy. I would vote for the candidate I believe would do the best job and if that candidate was black then yes, I'd vote for them.
I'm not an American though and can't vote in U.S. elections (which I presume you are talking about).

I wouldn't vote for someone just because he or she is black. I wouldn't not vote for him/her either. Skin color is not an issue for me, and should not be for anyone, in deciding whether someone should be president.

I thought Colin Powell was going to step up at one point. I would have seriously considered voting for him once he declared his own stance on the issues. All we know is he was Republican and fell out of favor with Bush . . . . so I would have to have heard the issues.
Color makes no difference to me if the person is qualified.

If he or she had the qualifications, experience and the ability to build a good, diverse and qualified team.
I've never understood this racial discrimination thing - there's only one race of humans. They happen to come in different skin colors, just like most other races of creatures do.

It depends on his (or hers...I can dream!) policies. If I like how they intend to run the country, I'll vote for them.
