Hahaha they're so "emo."
But I like them, I have all 3 of their cds. Personally, I hate it when people dislike a band's music just because of what they think of the individuals in the group. The music itself is completely separated from the band's appearance. If people really listen to music, they shouldn't worry about who's playing it.
I personally dislike rap and r&b, but I don't have anything against the people who perform it, and vice versa. I listen to some music by certain artists whom I disapprove of their actions, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying something that sounds good to me.
So basically, yes I like MCR, and I think they're cool: they do what they like to do and they don't give a s*** what others think... so no it doesn't make you emo, unless you put on a front to act like you're "emo."

I'm so f*cking lost. How the hell are they emo? Is it because Gerard gives it his all when he's singing. Because I ain't seeing no emotional, cry me a river BS in their music or lyrics. And um...if he's emo for putting his heart and soul into a song then you ppl need to just quit listening to most of the music you like. Most good vocalists put it all into a song. That's what makes it appeal to and seem so true to life to us album buyers.
