if u hav got luv for music then u won't feel its a waste of time. yeah but if u r not that creative or imaginative then its hard to compose em. but that's not the case with me. i luv composing songs, i pour my feelings & emotions in them. i luv them all a lot. i keep all the songs together in a folder & wen i read em i get more n more inspired to write more. i think tat this talent of mine will help me to do smnthn concrete 1 day.

yup
I'll give ya secret, you can thank me later.
The best and cheapest way to copyright them is this:
Put them all in a large envelope. Take them to the post office. Have the postal worker HERMETICALLY seal them and put postage on it. Mail it to yourself. When you receive it, DO NOT OPEN IT.
You now have a legally sealed, dated copy of your literary work that will stand up in any court of law.

You can go to my website at http://www.imaginotionsongs.com and click on Songwriting Services. There is a link to songwriting FAQ's where you will find lots of information and advice on how to get your songs 'out there' to both the listening audience and publishers.
To properly protect your songs, you should lodge them with the US Copyright Office. You can place all your songs onto a CD and lodge them as one compilation for a single fee, or you can lodge them seperately. I think the fee is around US$30.00. This is the most effective way of legally protecting your copyright. there is the so called 'poor man's copyright' (put your songs on a cd with lyric sheets included and post them to yourself. This can be quite effective too, however when 'push comes to shove', legally you stand a better chance by lodging with the US Copyright Office (or similar copyright protection agency in your country).
Hope this helps.

i ve been writing poems since i was in 8th grade, so for about
5-6 years now. i love poetry. i love to read it and write it. ive never considered selling it or getting it published 'cause i dont know the right people. i just have about 4 notebooks filled with them. i just keep them, maybe to read in my old ages. i write, maybe every week or so. i write about hard times, relationship problems, day to day struggles- everything.
