I feel it's a bad idea to build a fence "who will get the contract to build it, "another one of bushes friends" .Also because it WILL keep us in!
It's not what America represents...FREEDOM! It's bad enough we're the world bullies! We'd look pretty foolish putting up a fence!
Instead why don't we make the American companies that hire illegal immigrants accountable for their actions, give them a hefty fine, charge them with adding a abiding illegal immigrants and give them jail time! That might stop the flow of immigrants coming in if there were no one that would hire them, and no jobs for them, ya think?

I'm really glad to see that someone else is seeing the sense in this too. I'm thinking more like the Berlin wall.
What a waste of time, money and human breath putting up fences.
Why don't we ever have talks with Mexico and work with them to help control their population and illegal aliens?

At least until 2010 when the borders are opened as outlined in the NAFTA Plus agreement. Look it up it is real and going to happen. Just another little thing our fine government has snuck in under everyone's radar.

The Iron Curtain will do no good because there are many ways wherein people could come into the US.

If you mean the fence. The fence is a great waste of time and tax money. They will still hop the border.
And yes, a wall could be a bad thing.

Welcome to the 21st century, Willie...the Old Days are dead and gone, new day has dawned with 6.5 billion people in it. Further, all ya gotta do is go get you one of them there passport things, and you can go see the world, there. I've always thought it'd be cool to go see Australia, but there's no way I could afford the ticket to up and go...someday maybe.

In AZ we seriously need it. 500 illegals are coming into this state every day. It is horrible. I don't see Americans (except felons on the run) trying to get into Meico illegally, we use pass ports and come back. They don't and many come in are felons.
