I am 25 weeks pregnant and my rib cage aches. Everytime I laugh, breathe deeply, or move in certain ways, I have these terrible aches that stretch all the way around my entire rib cage, not just one area. The pain feels internal, like in my lungs. I am going to talk to my doctor about it. I was wondering if this is normal and common for pregnancy. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

Ohh yeah I dealt with it. That sounds more like round ligament pain and its because you are at the stage where the uterus is stretching and the ligaments are sore. But it could also be tiny little baby feet kicking your rib cage.

My daughters favorite place to put her feet (even now that she's 3 months old) was in my right lung. My rib cage was so bruised from her big feet. If I didn't feel feet in my rib cage I knew she had turned around.

It's pretty normal, just take it easy though because it can get uncomfortable, and the round ligament pain should go away soon.

Yes I constantly have pain in my lungs when i breathe in. It gets worse the farther you get because of the baby pushing on your ribcage.
