Like, they had Mr. Big and stuff...Mr. something to describe them. They were really thin children's books, and they had a lot of them. Anyone know the correct name of them?

That's the Mr. Men series, a collection of 46 children's books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971. Little Miss was an accompanying series of 33 books with female characters that started in 1981. After Hargreaves' death in 1988, his son, Adam, began writing and illustrating new stories involving the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters, including the creation of six new characters.

I cannot recall the exact title of the series (there were over 30 books), BUT they are still in print. Go into the children's section of a bookstore. They are always put in the "board book" section.
Or you can go to ABE.com and look them up by title. "Mr. Slow" "Mr. Happy." are two of the titles.
Good luck.
