Well all of my grandparents are dead so its hard to tell where I originate from. I'm "Taiwanese" but people told me its the same as being Chinese. So I don't know what to think.. Can you help me out? (Keep away from racial comments please.)

portuguese were big traders in asia. perhaps it comes from them.

did you ever dye your hair or go into the sun for a long time this can cause a change in hair color or are you mixed with another nationality other than asian

Are you sure you are not an ALBINO? Probably this is the case of a few highlights there, and a few highlights there......i have brown hair and i am asian too.... but i know my roots... so i dont know about you why you dont know your roots???

I have a Japanese friend who has chestnut colored hair. She dies it black, so no one will know. It's not unheard of for Asians to have reddish hair. I don't know where it originates from.
