It depends on the looks I guess, but either way it's pretty arrogant, and I bet you that's exactly the idea, to shock with arrogance and thus capture your attention. You're obviously still thinking about it, so I'd say it worked.

he/she wants to make sure that he/she isnt wasting their time if you arent into them. I myself would have to say- I dont know yet- give it time- tell them to chill
