How come the girls who put on make up get more dates than girls who don't?

I don't necessarily agree with your statement. Most guys don't like girls who are buried in makeup - it looks fake and trashy.

With that said, a girl who wears makeup tastefully gives the impression that she takes pride in her appearance. All things being equal, most guys will find themselves attracted to a girl who takes pride in her appearance -- it shows that she's comfortable with who she is, not trying to be something she's not.

Natural beauty is the best choice to go, but having a very little touch ups to make your natural beauty outline will make you more attractive and groomed.

Who told you that? That is totally untrue, 100%. I'm going to tell you something due to exerpience of a lifetime: hott, good looking guys inside and out believe that attractiveness from a girl (in her face) is the cosmetic philosophy of "less is more". Not only does it apply to guys' interests, but too much makeup is ugly and totally unattractive. The girls you're talking about are the h-o-o-k-e-r-s that attract h.o.o.okers like themselves.

Because makeup generally enhances one's features. It's not that you aren't YOU anymore, you just become a more polished version of you. Honestly, I think there's some subconcious thing that happens when a guy sees a made-up girl.. I think he feels that she takes care of herself and cares about her appearance more.. I don't think that someone who doesn't wear makeup can't get a lot of dates, of course that's not true! If they're confident and it shows, they'll be just as busy dating as their makeup-wearing counterparts. But hey, a little blush can go a long way. :o)

Well, if you have a pimpley face, I would think so. But if your skin is clean, the girls probably wear heavy, trampy make-up that attracts bad men. If you put make-up on lightly, you'll get a good person who likes you for the way you are.

what is your range for comparison?.....most women will tell you that when we have a cold or are bare faced at the drugstore or supermarket or doing laundry get hit on unbeleivably all the time. also sometimes maybe girls who put on their "war paint" feel more brave....that is more outgoing and seem to have higher self esteem which attracts men...men don't like to be around women with little self worth and esteem.

because they are hiding under all that makeup and it makes them feel secure and that makes them feel more confident, but it's not always the case. natural beauty is something that makeup can't replace. if you just plain ugly, there's only so much you can do with makeup.

that is so untrue. Most guys hate make-up. It often looks gross , cheapens and gets on their clothes.
