how long should an editorial be if im writing it on mic word?

Keep it pithy, short & sweet.

Brevity is the soul of wit. Being long winded makes you a half wit. Being very brief makes you an uber wit.

In general, there are two types of responses: letters to the editor and editorials. Letters are shorter (generally 100-300 words) where editorials are a bit longer (generally 300-500 words).
