I dont like it but it is the way of the sport now days. Teams can be bought and sold on a whim and the prices of everything are so high that not many can really afford to even go to the games, not to mention that the niners suck right now and probably will suck for a few more years. Dont get me wrong the Niners are my team I love them and have been a fan for a very long time I even lived in REdwood City where they at one time had their training camp and some of the Niners would come to my school and play basketball against the schools alumni. I dont think I will like it I mean the Santa Clara 49ers just doesnt have the same ring to it does it.

The 49ers at a similar time as not doing lots in the final 12 years or so have a brilliant historic past. From 1970-seventy two they have been the 1st group because of the fact the merger to win the western branch thrice in a row. They lost to Dallas in Nfc Championship video games 1970-seventy one rankings have been 17-10 and 14-3. They lost to Dallas back in a branch recreation in 1972 30-28. Dallas got here from at the back of trailing 28-sixteen with decrease than 2 minutes left. this would have been the appropriate recreation of 1972. they could slip back not making the playoffs back til 1981 . Walsh and Montana the two got here in 1979 and the rest is historic past. The legacy starts with the seize ultimately beating Dallas 28-27 Nfc Championship recreation. From there they gained 5 great Bowls in the subsequent 13 years. They in no way performed in a great Bowl they might not win 5-0.

The 49ers are NOT moving anywhere. The news story last week was a wake up call to San Fran's mayor. The 49ers wanted to get the city's attention and let them know that they need a new stadium. In poker terms they were bluffing, but the city will NEVER lose that team, no need to call the bluff....just get everyone's attention and pony up the money. Two days later the mayor said they city is looking into new funding options...A SUCCESFUL BLUFF!

Fine. Most of the 49er fans who go to games are from the Peninsula and South Bay, so might as well move down south to Santa Clara where they are closer to their fan base.

IT WOULD FEEL A LITTLE BIT WEIRD IF THE NINERS MOVE OUTSIDE SAN FRANCISCO. FOR DECADES, THE NINERS HAVE PLAYED IN THIS STADIUM. OAKLAND RAIDERS AND SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS WOULD NOT BE ACROSS THE BAY ANYMORE. I WONDERED IF THE NINERS WOULD HAVE AN INSIDE OR OUTSIDE STADIUM. PROBABLY, IT WOULD BE PLAYED OUTSIDE.

It's fine.. and becomming common. It's no different than the Cowboys in Irving or the Pats in Foxboro. Even the NYJ/NYG play just outside their major city.

It's not a final decision yet, and I personally think it would be a bad move.....but, they will still be a pretty bad football club with or without the move. Fight for your team San Fran!
Go Colts!!

If you have ever been to the sorry piece of crap called Candlestick Park, you'd think moving was a great idea.
