I live in Pittsburgh, PA which is just a short drive to Wheeling I think it's a nice place to visit especially after that new amusement park is built, but I would never want to live there.

If I may.... I never lived in Wheeling,WV but I did live in Northern Virginia for over 3 years and visited West VA many times. Among the cities my son and visited we must have gone to Wheeling at dozen times.

We found the city, its people, heritage and history educational, interesting and....well rounded and comprehensive. By that I mean it had many varied sights to see and experiences to enjoy, and the area fun to explore.

In fact my son is currently in Martinsville, WA on his church mission and expressed his enjoyment at spending the last 3 months of his mission in West Virginia. He leaves from there the last week of December.

I hope to visit West Virginia, Wheeling, Martinsville & Hapers Ferry beore I leave for work over in Iraq before next year.
