This sounds stupid and isn't really a question, but is there any way to write or email the band My Chemical Romance? I can't find a way on their site or anything. Their music has been so much more to me than music, and even if they hear it all the time, I want to tell them how much it means to me to hear the pain I was feeling. I was close to committing suicide, and I'm only 15. I wanted to lay down and die, so every time I felt that way, I listened to them. Their new CD is helping me through my life right now, and I just wanted to know if I could try to let them know this stuff. Music can change your life.

Thanks everybody.

Where can I find MCR forums so there is even the slightest chance the band will see it?

Don't worry. Music is my blood now. It's getting me through this, because I don't talk to people well. I'm kind of a loner, but if I can keep doing what I am now, I'm gonna be okay. All that's bothering me is that I have no way to tell the people who saved my life that they did it.

Hey, just keep at it. Find out the name of their record label and try from there. Think outside the box. Maybe even a music video station might have it listed.

I'm so glad you found strength in their music. I'm sure it would honour them to know that they have helped to start a dangerous wound to mend, and that they have eased some of your pain. Be strong! Stay strong! And take care of yourself!

I agree with the person who said to get the addy off the album. Most singers or bands do take some time out to read their mail. Good luck and I hope they get to read your letter. :)

Yes, music can change your life but, I tend to think you may need more. I've gone through what you have, kinda, when I was a teenager. Music is very soothing to the soul but it isn't a cure all. It took something major and life changing to "fix" me of my need to commit suicide. Please seek help the next time you feel so bad that you want to die. Suicide is never the answer. It's none of my business what is causing your pain but you can make it through and years from now be glad you did. :)

If you have the CD handy, look for the address of the record label who signed this band. I'd try there and either find the company's site and either send the band a "e-mail" or the traditional pen to paper "snail mail" letter.

Who knows--they may forward your letter to the band, seeing's they probably honor the band's privacy and won't give you their direct address. Still....it's worth a shot. Good luck in your quest.

You should go talk to your guidance counselor from school.
NOTHING is worth taking your own life...been there and experienced it. You are valuable to this world! You DO have a place here or God wouldn't have put you here.
Please talk to someone......family, friend, teacher, minister....
