I am curious because I don't know why someone would do such a thing.

I can only guess that they're not getting everything that they need at home, we live in a selfish society and if I'm not getting what i want the I'm gonna get it elsewhere.
Of course some people are just naturally greedy

Some of you people are so judgmental. Not everyone that has been unfaithful is a perpetual cheater, liar, or unforgivably selfish. Have any of you ever asked someone why they did it? Its not always because they're unloving, inconsiderate, sex addicts.... and anyone.... ANYONE.... is vulnerable if their situation and state of mind are fragile enough. We're all human, we're all fallible, and we all make mistakes.
You do NOT live inside other peoples marriages, and you cannot begin to pass judgment on people you don't know because of one thing they did.... when you have absolutely NO knowledge of their reasons or of the dynamics within their marriages. Its not a black and white issue...not in all cases.

don't know the stats, but the reasons are endless. Insecure, jealousy, selfish, manipulative, possessive. Mainly just selfish and destructive...

because the people who cheat are not getting what they want or what they need at home it does not matter if they are male or female all if they are not happy in one way or another they will look else where

its usually boredom that would make me do it....in the past...but now after 14 years i have been with the same girl and never cheated on her....but the sex helps also...no sex .i go back to the old me...but i dont force her...she sometimes foces me ...ha.ha
