Yes I am. I have often wondered what a "normal" family would be like but hell what exactly is normal? I know as in most dysfunctional families we didn't talk about the dysfunction outside the family. I wasn't allowed to show emotions and I learned to wear my mask well . However when I started my family I wanted everything totally different than my life was .. but alas my kids still grew up in a dysfunctional family ...we are what we learn

My family could be the poster for the disfunctional family campaign.

NO
I was the disfunction of my family.
I'm still disfunctional, just not a part of my family anymore.

No, but I've ended up with one disfunctional sibling. I adore him, but he's really messed up his life (alcohol issues) and it's effected our whole family.

yes. I have the most dysfunctional family I have ever seen, Drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancy, Divorce, runaways, high school dropouts, Remarriages to evil stepparents, Child molestation, suicide, Oh and my favorite, my older stepsister is believed to have murdered her husband. And that is just the tip of the iceburg. So I am going to go with YES

You had better believe it. Mom & Dad divorced. Dad is drug addict. Sister is drug dealer addict living in domestioc violence and calling it love. Brother is married to a NUT. Nieces and Nephews left home (1 ran away) as soon as possible. I'm far from sane and the most normal one in the family!

No. Maybe there were some occasional, very tiny, imperfections here or there, but I come from a very strong, solid, loving, good, family - and I've always been grateful for that.

I think everyone has a little dysfunction in their family.....if you really look behind those closed doors and into the skeletons in the closets.

Absolutely NOT! Except for the years and years constant bickering and fighting between my Mother and Father and the never-ending nagging of my older sister - my family life was totally American!
