Ever heard a spirit talking to you?

When I was in seventh grade I went to visit my grandma at the hospital, she was in a coma. As I walked in the room, my mom was with my grandma, and I distinctly remember hearing my grandma's voice saying "you look tired mary (my mom), you should go home". But when I looked at my grandma, she was still asleep, it couldn't have been her. It was so freaky, I have always wondered if it was my grandma's spirit talking to me. Has anyone else had an experience where they heard a spirit talking to them?

I once was about to drift off to sleep when a voice clearly spoke to me and said, "Don't close your eyes!" I didn't, and within 5 minutes the space heater in the room caught on fire! Another time I was a sales person in a camera shop (a very good job that I loved) but one day a voice said "resign now!" At the time I took it to be God speaking to me - so to prove my faith I resigned that day. I landed another job at a hotel delivering laundry - didn't pay much but it was low stress which is exactly what I needed as I was going through a divorce. Then, due to a lie that someone told about me, I was fired. (I had been there 2 years.) I immediately landed the highest paying job I've ever had after that! And I'm still at that job and very happy. Been at it for ten years. So, having listened to the "voice", I was spared a lot of stress during a time I was quite weak emotionally, and it led to where I am now which is wonderful.

A whole bunch, once. When I was in a boarding school. I lived with 6 other students in a large room. One dawn I woke up and everyone was asleep. I couldn´t turn on the light to read my self to sleep again. So instead I just stared at the ceiling trying to remember the lyrics to a song. I was doing that when all of a sudden this !!!MMMmmmmm! electric type sound took over the room. The sound lasted about a second. During that second my vision an hearing changed. I couldn´t see my room mates or the legs of their beds. The two windows in the room started to display some shadow like forms. And this medium loud whisper started in the room. My attempt to make sense of what was happening failed the instant I realized my room mates weren´t making the whispers because, well, They weren´t there. It was like this other dimension. It got worst when the whispers moved closer to my ears. This all happened very fast. Beating my chances of reacting from my amaze and panic. Out of the huge mumble I remember not finding any real coherency. But this male voice stood out. It was very clear, profound and strong. It said : "When you see this" (The window shadows formed the shape of a Reptile) "<(Name)> is going to die". (I can´t remeber the names). It went on and told me atleast four names, with the window shadows forming an image for each name. Everything in a very fast choreographed sequence and Mumbleling in the back ground. All of a sudden the !!!MMMmmmmm! sound came back and in a second my perception and sences came back to normal. I could see my room mates peacefully and unawarely sleeping. There was absolutely no sequel of what I had expirienced a seconds ago. Back to our demension. I could remember everything but the names. Very sinister and strange. Is like they weren´t clear to cross.

About your questions. Yes. It could have been your grandma talking to you. And yes I had a similar expiriece. Only I didn´t know the voices.

Yes, my son communicated with me four months after his death. We had said whoever went first would come back and let the other one know they were OK. His girlfriend at the time told us well don't ya'll come back and visit me. We all laughed. He came to me several nights before Christmas Eve and told me he wanted to show me something. We were actually spiritually intertwined out in the atmosphere.....this was an awesome experience, I could feel his presence and we communicated mentally without speaking but heard it all and he ask me to just Hang with him for awhile. There was a necklace that was his and lost in a move. He showed me the box it was in. I felt like this was his Christmas gift to me. And he let me know he was OK. I smile every time I think of it even though I miss him dearly. He was an only child and we were very close he was 27 when he died.

Yes it is completely possible. In our crazy world we are taught not to believe anything unless some scientist endorses it first. Things happen, people can talk without moving there lips, if you are open you can see and hear things that would amaze you. This world is a big place, keep your eyes open and believe what you feel. It's amazing, when we feel hungry, we think, I must be hungry, I'll go eat, but when we feel and hear voices we think, o that can't be happening, well it can and it does. We are just a big ball of energy.

Many people have heard voices, and many people just choose not to tell anyone about it or to just ignore it, But the spirit world does exist and and some how they can communicate with mankind. But where there is good there is also evil so you should pay attention and give thought as to ir origin in order to be better prepared to defete evil. For only evil would suggest that you harm yourself or others.......................

Yes, many times throughout my life. I would like to share with you an experience I had with my grandmother when she was dieing. While my grandmother was spending her last days in my home, she had gotten much worse one day and I went out on my deck to prey for strength. As I was preying, I heard my grandmothers voice loud and clear as though she were stanting beside me and as if she were well. She told me that she heard me and that it will be alright. She will stay with me longer and she loves me.
I went immedietly to my grandmother's bedside. She was sitting up in bed and smiling, looking much better. The first words out of her mouth when I walked in were I heard you, it's going to be alright. And, then she said "And, no honey, I couldn't hear you from across the house and through a closed door out onto the front deck" She lived three weeks longer and we had alot of great times during that extra time she gave me.
During the last few days before she eventually died, each time I touched her, I could feel an electrical tingling srrounding her body. It was as if her lifes force was hovering near the surface.
After she died, before the mortuary picked her up, my husband took a picture of her body. In the photograph I could see her spirit floating above her body.

Yes all my life. First time I was 4 or younger. What I was told is all of us are born being able to see and hear, but most of stop hearing and seeing the first time they were afraid to see and hear. Like when your dad shut the bedroom and turned off the night light. You probably were seeing way too much and no one took care of you. So you shut it off.
If you want to shut it off just build a wall in you head one that the others cant go tho.

I have not but my mom did. I was late getting to her house. She was ready to come looking for me when she heard me say" help me" I was pregnant at the time. That same evening, her husband, my step-father passed away. I have heard of others but never personally had the experience.

I prefer to believe that we do hear spirits talking to us. It helps to ease our own fears of death, the unknown, the afterlife, etc... It is also a comfort to us to communicate with our loved ones who have passed or are near passing. This communication with them keeps them alive even in death. Whether it is our subconscious or someones spirit it is something necessary for our sanity.

this is so weird, but ithink it does happen. my gram passed away 2 years ago in july, it was very traumatic but a couple months later in september my son was about to start his first day of school, i got a phone call at 7 am, it woke me up and i answered it. it was gram, she asked me if i was up yet and said she wanted to make sure my son caught the bus. i said, yah gram of course im up. i didnt even really clue in until about 5 minutes later what had just happend, it was really great though, i know she is still looking out for us.
