I know that a major thing was that aunt alexandra wasnt in the movie.. but thats all I can figure out.

Sounds like you were supposed to read the book and saw the movie instead... ooops! There is a lot more in the book. The movie is only made from a part of the book. Now go read it like you should have done.

the book is on paper while the film is well on film. You have to craftier than this to weasle an answer out of us wise ones here on The Questions
