Jungle Book was the first place that I heard Prima too. Later on, I heard the soundtrack to the movie "Big Night" of which Prima's songs played a big part. THEN I became a big fan. By the energy and mood of his songs, he must have been a real party animal!
Favorite song: 5 Months, 2 Weeks, 2 Days. I'm crazy about his "Ooo! Ahh!" scat in that song.
Interesting Trivia: If you listen real close to a lot of his songs and you knew NOTHING about his band, you would know that his sax player's name was Sam. Check it out.

Man that cat could swing. Prima is primo. Found out about him as a child through the Disney film "Jungle Book".
