Excellent question! I've always admired Nelson Mandela, so I would love to share Thanksgiving dinner with him. My beloved grandmother passed away 12 years ago and I still really miss her, so it would be nice to spend another Thanksgiving dinner with her. Maybe she would share with us a little bit of what heaven is like.

I would also like to share Thanksgiving dinner with my entire extended family, but my extended family is the most dysfunctional family in existence, so I know that won't be happening. Alot of very ugly and sad history there. Maybe with my (late) grandmother there, everyone would act civil though. She was the glue that held the family together. Maybe that's one of the reasons I miss her so much.

Oh well, I still have reasons to be thankful! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Oh my goodness, Christina - your post really touched me... I have a daughter I adopted when she had just turned two years old. She's now almost 18. I tell anyone who will listen how much I love my daughter and how precious having her in my life is. Wishing you many blessings, hon...

You know I'd love to have thanksgiving dinner again with my parents and most of my family who have passed, but I'd also love to have Jesus, Ghandi, Bobby Kennedy, Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela , Martin Luther King and maybe Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble for entertainment with a reunion of the Beatles just for the heck of it . Great dinner huh?

Since my mom died, the holidays just haven't been the same. We always cooked the meal together. It was so much fun and I learned so much. I wish I could have her one more year. She could meet her newest grandchild and we could all tell her how much we loved her. My brother also passed away this year. So for me, just being with the people I love is enough this year. I know everyone around me cares very much. I am carrying my mom's spirit on through my kids. We are going to cook together this year and every year from now on.

Make everyday special. You never know how long you are going to be here. Let your family know you love them everyday.

I would get Socrates, Abraham Lincoln, Ghengis Khan, Billy the Kid, Joan of Arc, and I'd pick them up in my time-traveling phone booth I got from George Carlin...

C'mon, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure? Anyone?

It would be My moms dad and my dads mom. I was adopted and my moms dad was dead before i came along and my dads mom held me on the way back home from picking me up at my dads brothers house.
(That was the first day my adoptive parents saw me.)
My dads mom died not too long after they adopted me.(i was 6 mo.s old) anyway. They are both dead and i never knew them. Id love to have one day with them and get to know them and visit with them.

it might be steve irwin for me......
he taught us so much and we did nothing for him. He risked his life filming those things. I believe it's not because of money... because he is definatly not that sort of person. He gave us so much joy. I donot really watch most of his shows but i don't know why his death had such a great impact on me and to others. We all know how much people loves him, especially when he died.

Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed, it would make for a very interesting and possibly never ending feast, with lots to talk about, but put me on Jesus' table side, where the wine is
