why is there so much racism? whites hate blacks and blacks hate whites everyone hates everyone, why? i like everyone, no matter what really i do. i was watching dr.phil and they had this white guy get made into a black man and stand on a corner and ask silly questions, im sorry but if i was walking by and anyone that was standing asking questions like he was i would laugh and keep walking. why didnt they dress the black woman up like a white woman and stand her out there on the corner? i just dont get it you have the white people screaming for there land/rights and you have blacks that are screaming whites still hate us we have rights too. i just think the whole thing is crazy and would like to know your opinion on it.

no i didnt mean that whites have rights to be racist towards blacks. i said blacks are screaming whites still hate us, we (as in blacks) have rights too.

***i'm w/ u. i wasn't raised that way and i really don't understand the whole discrimination thing. there's *ssh*les out there in every color, and it's not their color that makes them that way. i'm sick and tired of people getting special treatment too b/c of the hardships their ancestors faced. i didn't do it to u, i WOULDN'T do it to u...i don't OWE u...and the special treatment he/she/they may receive only perpetuates the anger and resentment. everyone needs to be treated the same, let the past be the past, and MOVE ON!!!

you know what, i think you got my thoughts exactly right.
why do we have such racism?
wars usually result from severe racism. and don't we all hate wars?
i get so mad whenever i hear a person criticizing another race, or gender, or religion... or ANYTHING LIKE THAT.
why can't we all keep the peace?
why do we have to hate each other? we have better things to do then enter a war and watch our loved ones being killed because of a stupid racism issue.
OK... let me heat down a bit.
well, technically, i think the black/white racism thing started way back when Colombus discovered the Americas. basically, the white men had never seen black men before.... so they thought they were demons, almost, when they were just as civilized and polite as them! why did they do that? because of their appearance. appearance matters SO MUCH in what people think of us.
it's like a stereotype.
i'm half-japanese and half-american, but i still have the black-haired, pale-faced, brown-eyed features that most japanese people have. if a set of aliens came from another planet and saw me, with my black hair, when they didn't even HAVE hair? would they think me as demons? maybe.
what really matters is what's inside, yet people don't really care about that anymore. they take one glance at someone and decide whether they are worthy or not.
the Civil War was supossed to end everything, yet it didn't. Even though the war ended and slavery was supossed to be gone forever, the anger between the blacks and the whites were still sizzling. the whites because they had lost their slaves and the blakcs because they had been treated VERY, VERY unfairly.
i think some of that still exists today; white people think that black people are less trustworthy than other white men, and black men think that white men are more dangerous.
even though the civil war was a long time ago, the blakc sstill remember how they were treated, from learning about it in school to hearing from their great-grandfathers.
i wish we didn't have racism.
i wish we didn't have wars.
i wish a lot of things...
but it doesn't mean they all come true.
i wish they did, though....

you said u like everyone , then u said whites have rights to hate black people. everyone has a right to there own opion. but it sounds like u have a problem with black people. i saw Dr Phil and it was the white man that had the problem he hates black people, the black lady hate racism. I'm black and i love everyone i believe we are all apart of gods body. i don't know why the world is like it is, its been this way and i teach my kid to see a persons heart not there skin color.cause no matter what we all have to live here TOGETHER.

It's absolutely ridiculous. The hate. I am from Canada and there isn't even a 10th of the hate up here as there is in the states. I watch the news, read papers...and I am absolutely baffled by what I see, here or read about the racism in the US. It's crazy. I wouldn't even think of talking down to or about someone just because they were a different colour.

I am so with you. my parents say that black people are the nastiest people ever but i LOVE them black boys...I think it doesnt matter what color your skin is or what race you are...all that matters is that you be yourself at all times. Black people aren't always gangsters bad people or SLAVES!!! they are people too....what I have learned in the little amount of years I have lived is that people can be very racist not only to blacks but whites chineese MEXICANS,us mexicans are being thrown out of a country that once was ours. Yoou dont see us throwing all the white people out of Mexico or ensenada or rosarito. we make places you will enjoy so you will want to come back.Now thats not only for mexicans it is against any race or color.My opinion on this is that if you slit your arm and compare to a black person or white or mexican we are all the same inside! everyone is made equal....AMEN PRAISE THE LORD!just kidding.....

Its the way people are raised. I was raised in a racist home , but, I chose not to be racist. Its stupid to hate other races just because what a few bad apples chose to do, you can't judge people by their skin, where they are from, sex, religion or what they believe or don't believe. Or hate people because what other people of their race has done or family, just like its wrong to hate people because of their sexual preference. I really do believe this I am not just saying that like a person o this site says, they are a true hypocrite and that person know who they are. I asked something about homosexuals and they bit my head off and took what I said out of context.

It's not just between blacks and whites, but blacks and blacks. I am an African person, but have been called names like American Yankee and American. Then when I introduce myself they get shocked and apologize for their stupidity. This land doesn't belong to the whites or the blacks and it's time when all this hate rots in hell.

Not true at all, the TV is not a good measure of how people feel about one another, I work with all creeds and colors in the service and we all get along for the most part. It's the people who live in isolation form others that don't get along because they never had to.

On the white side, Nazi's, KKK, White supremacists, they tell lies and spread hate.
On the black side, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpten, Louis Farrakhan, Maxine Waters, Spike Lee, Kanye West, 90% of the rappers, on and on and on. The Bloods, The Crips. They tell lies and spread hate.

If a black woman is on a street full of whites, is she afraid to walk down that street? If a white woman is on a street full of blacks, is she afraid to walk down that street?
You answer that one, then tell me who hates who?
Three young teenage girls in Long Beach Ca. were beaten and molested on Halloween night by a group of 9 black girls and 30 black boys. While attending a House Of Terror in a high class part of town? Have you heard of this kind of thing happening to blacks in the last twenty years? And just to fair about it, It was heroic black gentleman that saved these girls by jumping into the crowd and throwing the black kids off of them. They would have been killed if not for this hero! I would lkie to shake his hand.
But I ask again? WHO hates who?

It's a silly silly business this hating stuff. Life is too short to hate.
I don't hate anybody, sure there are some people I dislike but hate no, that takes way to much wasted energy.
