I used to enjoy Jay's opening monologue and some of his skits. I thought Leno to be a much better comedian than Letterman. And I really have a problem with that suck-up band leader Letterman has.

Jay Leno, never was a huge Letterman fan. Leno is funnier, better jokes, better guests and yes is better to look at.

I prefer the old Letterman from the 80's I had a huge crush on him but he has mellowed and he tends to fawn over his guests in an inauthentic manner.

So today I go with Leno because his show has some funny and interesting segments although he can be quite acerbic at times.

Leno hasn't been funny since his Dorito commercials circa 1980. It's too easy to tell he is reciting jokes. While Leno appears to probably be a "nicer guy" than Letterman, he can't approach Letterman's level of wit and sarcasm. Think about it. Sometimes Letterman gets a laugh solely from an expression. When does Leno do that? As for HEADLINES, is it a true talent to be able to READ them and giggle?
