I have a 7 year old and we (his mom and me IE santa) want to get him a PS2 for christmas. His big brother has one and most of the games I see him play are violent. I would like to know if there any age appropriate game for the PS2 system.

of course there is...i have a 7 year old and i play kindom hearts and final fantasy....but you should get him a cartoon kind of game like madagascar or something like that...you can find these at dimple records...their used but they work well.
