So Tell Me…What Exactly Do You Do With Your E-Friends?

Question

I never had an e-friend. When I’m at home, I enjoy my space. When I want company, I walk outside. However, I do understand that this is one of the luxuries of living in a city and not the norm in less urban areas.

My question spawns from a recent request from a YA! user to swap photos. Is this rudimentary e-socializing? What exactly do you do with your e-friends? Do you speak on the phone, share photos, and eventually meet in person?

Nothing. I don't really keep up everyday contact with anyone on here. A lot are just interested in asking and answering, not forming personal relationships and if anyone is, I havent heard anything about it. I have never spoke on the phone with anyone on here, never swapped photos or met anyone from Y! Answers.

Well, I am an online gamer, player of MMORPGs and FPS games. Over the last 8 years or so, I have developed friends all over the US in these games and from time to time, we meet in person for a get-together when convenient. Or if one of them is taking his family on vacation nearby, we meet. Kind of a long distance friendship thing. And we do speak on the phone from time to time but mostly on VOIP programs such as Ventrilo or TeamSpeak.

On the cool, I have never met an E-friend, i dont have the guts to do that cuz what if the chick aint what i expect. i would probably run as hell. so id rather keep things thru this mean. But i think having e-friends is healthy since u can express ur feelings thru here and not hurt anyones feelings.
