Do your homework when you have the chance because that way you can concentrate on it instead of rushing through it on the day its due. Even if you want to take a break from it you can but u cant if you wait until its due.

Alot of times you let an assignment do the 'countdown until it's due' sit on your desk. It sits there and ferments until the last hours before it's time to hand it in and then you rush and stay up until dawn breaks typing unfocussed and rushed. The only excuse I can think of is that people leave theeir assignments tyo last minute because they feel that when they are on the wire they will preform better becasuse they know there is no time left..
But when you do it ahead of time you can revise and edit, correct and then safely know it's been done way ahead of time, giving you then more timew to relax free of duty .

A trick i used in highschool was that I would always maek my due dates two days before the actual due date. I know you might think :'But I'll know thats it's really due the days after.::"
but if you just keep that mentality that the two days before is when it's due it'll get it out the way and still give you a chance to go back and look it over if needed before submitting.
