Really all depends. If you need new rotors, you will have to get that and the new pads. Will not know for sure if you are going to need the new rotors or not without looking at them.

How do you know that you need new brakes? Brakes consist of many components that wear and others that break down with age. The whole system should be evaluated to determine which parts need cleaning and/ or replacing. If you don't know what parts to look for perhaps you should ask someone you can trust that is a certified mechanic take a good look at it.

i own a repair shop, and what you might need to do is take it to a good mechanic and let him look it over real good ,and see what you need for it,brakes are a tricky thing, and should only be done by a good mechanic ,that has the proper tools for the job,at least he can tell what you need to do the job right on it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

go to an auto parts store like an autozone or advanced auto parts. they have an entire system that tells you all the parts for your car if they need to be replaced. and if they dont have the part, you can ask them to order it and they will let you know when it comes in. if there arent any near you go to a good local shop and have them install it.
