I think that John Edwards is an excellent candidate, he reminds me of my hero JFK, even though he comes from very different circumstances. He has strong beliefs in the American Dream for everyone. I was very impressed by his family commitment when he stayed by his wife during her fight with cancer. He worked in the mills in South Carolina to help pay for his education. He has the very electable look of a Southern Democrat with strong moral values. Hillary is a woman of great accomplishment, but this country is not ready to vote for a woman President, sorry to say, but we must face reality, eight more years of Republican rule will destroy America.

Well, I'm an Independent but I have voted straight Democrat ticket in the past couple of elections just to send a message to the corrupt GOP. I can't say I like Hillary though. She is a panderer of the worst kind, and also I odubt seriously she could foster any cooperation with the Repubs if she got elected; this would lead do even worse divisivness between the two parties, which would be bad for the country. As far as Democrat candidates, I like Barack Obama, but I'mpretty sure the country isn't going to elect a black junior senator in '08. Maybe in 2012 he has a shot. Other than him, I can't really get behind any other Dems yet. I think I would vote for McCain though, who is sure to get the GOP nomination if he wants it. I wish he would become an independent, but that's probably not going to happen. Still, he doesn't play the games the other Repubs do and seems to have a bit of the rogue idealism. Also, being an ex Vietnam vet, he would know how to get us out of the no-win situation in Iraq, which is like another Vietnam.

Al Gore is better than Hillary Clinton. Can you imagine as George HW Bush said the other day of Bill walking behind his wife like Prince Phillip behind the Queen?
I cannot see the Dems winning with their current choices. Let Obama run and lose in 08', but win in '12.
John McCain is the next President.

I know your question is directed at Democrats. I am Independent, and vote as each candidate seems fit to run that particular office. Hillary, I believe, just got re-elected as Senator for New York. New Yorkers want her, let her stay there and represent her constituency. Edwards would be good, although, since his wife is sick with cancer, he might pass. Biden would appeal to me, as he is a MODERATE. Obama is now the rage, but he has NO experience, and what do we know about his policies for our Country (another Bush, only reversed?). I only hope others emerge, and out of 300 million of us, we should hope a qualified, uncorrupt, middle-of-the-roader will show up.

there's a lot ammunition that the GOP has been amassing adverse to her in view that 1992. they could likely play a diverse clip daily of her spewing something ridiculous or hateful between the time of her getting the nod and the election. to boot, she has ticked off sufficient people and he or she typically doesn't have anybody "uncertain". people both love her or hate her. not one of the reps are going to vote for her, and sufficient of the dems were ticked off that they received't vote for her both. She's not the, um, warmest of people. maximum individuals keep in mind that bringing Hillary into the White residing house received't convey the 90s roaring decrease back. that is a diverse international with diverse complications.

Barack Obama is doing damn well.
If Wesley Clark can pull his sh*t together, he would be another major contender.
John Edwards is still very much in the game, being a Democrat that is popular in the South.
I agree, it is time for a fresh face in Washington. What's going on now can be likened to the NFL, how there are rarely any new coaches, just old coaches being shifted from team to team.

The Democrats wanted that their candidate will win the Presidency. It is anybody's ballgame right now. The nomination is wide open.
