I have to have an MRI done on my stomach, along with some other medical tests, and I can't have my ring in. I've had it pierced for 8 years, but have always gone to the piercer to get it changed.
I've heard it can take as little as a few hours for it to close. I don't want to take the risk. Is there some kind of plug that I can put in? I've heard of these belly ring retainers. Are they made out of plastic, so they don't interfere with tests? Also, how long can I keep the retainer in? Thanks!

If you really think some of it is going to hurt, or affect you dont do it. Never push your self to do something u dont wanna do.
