Explain what Global Interdependence means (think economics)?

Global interdependence is the dependence individual nations have on each other. Countries rely on each other for resources that are not available in their own territory. There is a large network of trade and global commerce that governments around the world are dependent on to operate. As globalization increases so has global interdependence.
