I have school tomorrow, should I stay up all night writing songs and playing guitar or go to bed?

Stay up and write a song about flunking out of school and getting a job flipping hamburgers.

If you don't have any major classes tomorrow or exams then go ahead. I've done that before. It's best to write songs during the night. It might be a number one hit one day. Eventually get some rest. Sleep is the most important thing.

If you think you have a good song, stay up and write it. Otherwise you may find that when you wake up in the morning you can't remember everything. It's best to do it while it's still fresh in your mind. If nothing else, you should invest in something you can use to record your songs (even a small tape recorder) so that if you get really tired and need to stop, at least you'll remember the words and melody you had in mind. you can never go wrong playing guitar all night!!! at night is when i seem to be more creative, and sometimes you can get over tired and just start to goof around and thats where really funny songs come from! lol

Go to bed and get some rest.While writing songs is important to you,School should be more important.You won't be able to stay awake long enough to listen,or hear what the teacher is saying.Do that long enough and you can kiss the next grade good-bye.

do what you feel. If your heart compels you to drag out your guitar and/or put pen to paper, so be it. If it doesn't go to bed and get up for school and learn something in case music doesn't work out. :) Good luck

I'd stay up half the night writing songs and I'd sleep the other half. That way you get a bit of both. =)
