I've worn swimwear as underwear and underwear as swimwear when I was in a bind. I wouldn't do it regularly because it's advisable to wear cotton underwear generally... but if laundry hasn't been done or you are caught, it certainly doesn't hurt to pull a switch. It looks the same, other than the material, there's no real difference.

why not?.. I know some underwear (female) bra's and panties cover up much more than some bikinis.. So why are women embarrassed to be seen in their undies but not in a bikini? Weird logic huh?

you may placed on your undies for swims, yet assume to be tossed out as i grew to become into as quickly as at a downtown Boston inn as quickly as. I wore in simple terms my white briefs and a polo blouse that very nearly coated my bulge for a 6 am swim. My room grew to become into on the twenty fifth floor and the pool grew to become into on the third, i think of. After some minuted interior the pool in my briefs, i grew to become into asked to circulate away. That grew to become into ok as i grew to become into dared to do it. I do swim in my briefs in MY pool.

you "can", but i wouldn't suggest it.
this may seem kind of weird, but yeah.
the thing is it doesnt "breathe" as well as your good ol' cotton underwear, so odors and such will "build up"
and i think you get what i'm saying.
