If you're going to have the Green Lantern CORPS, why not have them ALL...? I'd personally nominate Gary Lockwood and Keir Dullea for Hal and Kyle, if they weren't too old. (They were the astronaots in 2001 A Space Odyssey.)

It's really gotta be Hal Jordan for a Green Lantern movie (which typically involves the origin of the character)
John & Guy might be introduced as characters, but not GLs yet (perhaps in 2nd or 3rd movie)
As far as casting Hal, tough call. The most likely candidates have already done other superhero movies and are therefore kind of identified as such. Maybe Mark Wahlberg?
For Guy Gardner: Steve-O!!!
For John Stewart: Derek Luke (Antwone Fisher) or Michael Jai White. Actually, Denzel Washington would make an awesome John Stewart, but in his case people might see the actor more than the character.
I think Christopher Judge would make a great Abin Sur :)

Hal Jordan would make a good choice, and I believe is most identified as 'The Real Green Lantern'.
Alan Scot is a little too early, and John Stewart, Guy Gardner, and Kyle Rayner are a result of Hal's tenure. They might fit well in well written screen plays though, especially if sequels were made.

I think the best one would be John played by Sam Jackson. Hal Jordan is who I grew up seeing on T.V. and he might be best played by young Hal; Ashton Krutcher or Colin Farrell even old Hal; Dennis Quad. Kyle might be best by an unkown or the wrestler in the WWE that tried to popularize him a while ago. I'm Guy might be good by Mickey Rourke. I don't have any idea about the first Lantern Alan.
Sam Jackson for sure.

Hal Jordon was the best Green Lantern and to put any of the others before him just wouldn't be right.

Can't really have one with John or Guy without Kyle. I'd go with the original Hal, even though time differences might raise some issues.

Everyone that knows GL knows that it would have to be Alan or Hal - Alan was the first GL, but Hal was the most popular one.

i would go with hal, but chances are it would be kyle or john, because producers dont give a crap about continuity.... my pick to play hal? billy campbell (the rocketeer)

I love john he was my favorite.
As for who should play him i am not sure many be that guy who played spawn ( Michael Jai White, I think) he looks like him.
Or maybe Will Smith.
