You will probably have an ultrasound just to make sure you are given the correct due date. Also to make sure you are given the right tests at the right times.

I wasn't sure of the 1st day of my period either - i gave a "guesstimate" and the doc used my hCG levels as a rough indicator as to how far along i was. Last week i went for an ultrasound, my dates (and the doctors dates) had me at 18wks 3 days but the ultrasound concluded i was 16 wks 6 days... so although the dates were different, it wasn't by that much!

how were you trying if you were not keeping track of your periods? ANYHOW the doc can feel your womb for a round about guess as to how far you are and they will most likely do a ultrasound for a more accurate date. This sounds more like a unplanned baby if you don't even remember within a few days when your period even was last, CONGRATS and good luck.

She will most likely go by the two days that you did have sex and tried to get pregnant. An ultrasound later on can determine exactly how far along you are, and she can change your due date then if it's off. Congrulations on your pregnancy!!

Congratulations, as you are unsure about the date of your last period you will more then likely be sent for an internal ultrasound to get a date, the internal is easier to pick up such Early pregnancy, as it is directly to your uterus, giving a better picture and more accurate size of gestation. Best wishes.

Your doctor may go by that, but considering the fact that you may have a period the first or second months of your pregnancy she will more than likely order an ultrasound! Thats what my Dr. did anyway.

When they do the blood test that will give you your HCG levels which say you are pregnant. They double and triple in the first couple of day and weeks of being pregnant. The other is the ultrasound. Good luck and God bless you and your new family to be.

Here's something that I found for you that might help with understanding the week by week pregnancy schedule.
Hope it helps.

She could go by the days, but if you want to be sure you can have a blood test done. (No harm to you or the baby)
Good luck!,
