Ok...I'm going to be working for my parents tommrow and I'm so excited but I cant figure this out and I know...its a stupid question but yeaz...I need help. If I'm going to be paid $5.00 an hour for 6 days a week for 5 hours per day...thats $150.00 by the end of this week but I dont get this part...
If I get paid by the hour...does that mean every hour I get paid $5.00? Like I started working at 1:00 to 2:00...thats an hour, do I get paid?

$5 an hour? Not even minimum
if they are paying you cash then it should be ok, unless they take out for taxes.

Your rate of pay is $5.00 per hour. You have to ask them will you be paid daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. Most part time job pay weekly. If they put you on their payroll, taxes will come out of your check. If they are paying you salary only, then you would have to claim the $$ at the end of the year.
You did not state your age, are you under 16 or over 16 years old.

If you are only getting paid $5/hour than you need to wake your parents up to the 21st century. Are you working in their sweat shop? Let them know that minimum wage is more than that. Other than that, your math is correct..
