No - but the majority of college students are liberal. I think it has to do with them getting away from their parents. Think about it - the parents of today's college students were the hippies of yesterday.

Many of those in academia (ie professors, etc.) are liberal themselves, and their views trickle down through the curricula, classes, etc. Younger people (ie students) tend to be more liberal and idealistic, so the "fit" is there during college years. Of course, that isn't to say that there aren't more conservative schools (e.g. even Princeton vs., say, Brown...) or areas of the country where conservative students might feel more comfortable. I think it's most important that students think critically, for themselves, and not just take what they're hearing/taught at face value.

Most people at college are pretty liberal...but that depends on the defionition of liberal.

It seems like it doesn't it. Most college professors are very liberal. I admire most because of their high academic achievements and analytical nature. This gives credence to their philosophies, however some are just out of touch with reality.

LOL, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. There are very conservative colleges. It only seems like colleges are full of liberals because its traditionally an age of questioning and experimentation.

Yeah, because they are young and easily misguided. And all the professors are liberal too. That is precisely why I didn't go to collage. (well not really, but it didn't make me want to go)
