I just found out a couple of days later that my ex-fiancee is going to be a father. I don't understand why, but that is really upsetting me. We broke up 8 years ago, and I thought that I had moved on a long time ago, but when I got those news, all the insecurities I felt when we broke up all came rushing back. About two years prior to our break-up, we had gotten pregnant, which due to my age, we terminated. This was a very difficult time for me.

Now, I am ready to have children, but unfortunately, I do have have someone in my life to have children with. And I see that he's moved on, found somebody, and they are having a baby. I'm not wishing harm, and think that he could be a good father (if he's grown up a bit), but in my own selfish way, I always wanted to be the first to have a child. Now.....feeling so guilty for feeling so jealous (which is completely not my style), I want to know an easy and quick way to deal with it....considering it's been 8 yrs since the break up.

I can completely understand why you would be jealous and although I can't offer you any advice in terms of how to stop feeling that way, I can only suggest you take it one day at a time. You can't stop the way you feel and there's nothing with that. Just remember that things will happen for you when they are supposed to. Good luck!

All i can say is its the first episode in your life like this and youll just forget it/deal with it more as time passes. Ive lost family and 2 businesses and im still dealing with it and always will...but you strengthen and temper your soul by past experiences. It will make you the person youre meant to be when youre older and hopefully wiser :))
