IS IT NORMAL FOR A 13 year old to wear a size 12 KIDS in jeans???

and when my son was 8 he wore size 5

Sure! You might not believe this but I'm in college and I wear a size 14 in girls' jeans!

By the time you're in high school your friends will be jealous. Trust me.

The only bad thing about it is it's hard to find cool things in those sizes. If you're wanting trendy styles get your mom to buy you a size 1 from the juniors' department and have them hemmed to the right length.

Don't worry about what your friends say; small girls are just as beautiful!

BTW, I don't say they are jealous because I think you're deathly thin; I'm assuming you're VERY SHORT, like I am. If you're around my height (4'9") it's perfectly okay to weigh 85-100 pounds. I mean, come on, if you were taller than that a size 12 would look like capris! Think, people!

Don't worry about it. Even if it's not common that doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. I'm 25 and wear tops in kids' size 10. Probably could fit into kids' size 10 or 12 pants except they would be way too short for me.

It depends on how tall you are. I would guess that it is not normal for someone your age to wear a size 12 in kids. A girl your age of average height should honestly probably weigh between 100 and 115 pounds and wear a size 2. To be underweight is unhealthy and your friends are probably not jealous (like other people have said). They are probably concerned. Or maybe you are just short! :) You should look at a height and weight chart to see where you fit in.

Because most clothes are made in other countries clothes are made in different sizes according to the general sizes of those in other countries .Example Most adults in other countries have
grew up with a very stict diet and liv by the same diet as adults , so when factories from other countires make clothes they make them according to what thier sizes are over there.
When I was 13 I also wore some clothes in kids sizes but this also goes into how active you are and bone structure.

they are just jealous, I shopped in the girls department till I was out of high school. It's called being petite. Most girls would kill to wear such a small size. You will start to develop a more mature body soon and then the little girls sizes won't fit so well. I loved being so small, I got teased too.

yeahs it is normal what wrong with them. i have a friend whose 13 who wears size 8! thats way small. Now i dont get people and sizes. But yes it is normal.

Ha Ha, the joke is on them! I wore kids sizes when I was a young teenager. It's cheaper!! Or at least it was back then. I loved it. You could get pants for $10 cheaper by buying kids instead of adults. Anyways, tell them to shut up, honestly, who cares, they'll pick out anything just to make fun. Nevermind them, tell them to drop it, or you'll drop them. Don't let it bother you. I know that's hard to do. or you could just wear pants that are to big for you? hmmm.

it's not weird. try a size 0 in juniors or a 00. i think it might fit you.you ill prob. grow soon. i had the same prob. I was too tall for a 14 but the 16 was too big at the waist. try a juniors' size. it should fit and try more than one brand, they fit differently. God bless!
